Get to know Isoline

Account security, workspace controls and the preferences on your device.

Profiles, account security, team workspaces, and device preferences. Updated September 26, 2026.

Account

Account & security

Open Settings → Account to review your signed-in sessions, authenticator and recovery-code status. These settings belong to your Isoline account across workspaces.

Manage signed-in sessions

Review each device and its last activity. Revoke a session you no longer use, or terminate all other sessions to keep only your current one. Signing out of the current session returns you to sign-in.

Add or remove an authenticator

Isoline uses a password with optional two-factor authentication through an authenticator app. Start the change in Account settings, then complete the security check in the browser window that opens. Follow its instructions to confirm the change.

Return to Isoline to check the result. If the browser closed, reopen the pending operation. If the result is unavailable, check its status before starting another change. Sign in again when requested.

Recovery codes

A recovery code helps you recover access when the normal security check is unavailable. Save the complete set in a password manager or another secure place you can reach without signing in to Isoline.

Replace a set

  1. In Settings → Account, choose the action to replace recovery codes.
  2. Complete the browser security check and generate the new set.
  3. Save every new code before confirming that you saved them. The browser displays them only once.
  4. After replacement completes, discard the previous set. Its codes no longer work.

Settings shows the set’s status and remaining count, never the codes themselves. If you lose the new set, replace it again while you still have access. Do not send codes in support messages or screenshots.

Finish an interrupted recovery

Keep the code used to start recovery until you finish the browser’s replacement-factor and new-code steps. If the attempt ends, start account recovery again with the same code within 24 hours. A different code cannot resume that recovery, and it cannot continue after the deadline.

Workspace

Workspaces

Use the workspace switcher to select where you are working. Profiles, team permissions and subscription information follow that selection. Available actions depend on your current role and permissions.

Isoline remembers the last successfully selected workspace for each account on this device. It checks your current membership before reopening it. A remembered selection does not restore revoked access.

Browser sessions run locally. The service controls membership and access to synchronized profile contents and is trusted with those contents. Sharing uses account and workspace permissions; it is not end-to-end encrypted.

Profile-specific browser, proxy, language and time-zone settings belong to the profile editor. Import profiles from Profiles. Device preferences do not create global profile defaults.

Subscription & usage

Open Billing under Workspace in Settings to view subscription and usage information. Billing access requires the workspace’s billing-management permission. If it is unavailable, ask an owner to review your access.

Plan and status
The service’s current subscription state. “Existing terms” means no managed subscription is recorded; it does not establish a paid plan. A scheduled cancellation takes effect at the displayed end time.
Usage and limits
Used counts come from the service and include every current profile, member, proxy and template in the workspace, not only the rows on one page. Active profiles and members count toward separate limits. Pending invitations reserve member slots until they are accepted, revoked or expire. Over-limit counts identify the affected resource; they do not mean existing profiles were deleted.
Not set
If a resource shows “Not set”, the service has not supplied a limit for it. This is not zero and does not promise unlimited use. Profile, member, saved proxy/VPN and template limits follow the current workspace plan. Transfers also need capacity in the recipient workspace.

Use Refresh after a membership or subscription change. If loading fails, retry; an unavailable result does not mean usage is zero. Where checkout is enabled, review the plan and total before opening Polar. The billing portal manages payment methods, invoices and cancellation. Paid plan and add-on changes are not available in this integration.

Webhooks

Webhooks send subscribed events to your HTTPS receiver. They are organization-scoped, even though you open them from Workspace settings. Changes can affect deliveries for other workspaces in the same organization.

Configure a destination

  1. Use an owner account with permission to update the workspace.
  2. Enter a public HTTPS destination on port 443 and select the events to receive.
  3. Save the signing secret shown after creation and configure your receiver to verify signatures. The endpoint starts paused; resume it when the receiver is ready.

The full destination URL is not shown in normal lists. Isoline generates a signing secret when you create an endpoint or rotate its credential and displays it once. Store it securely in your receiver configuration; do not send it in support messages. Creating an endpoint does not send a test request or prove it is reachable.

Pause, edit and rotate

Pause an endpoint to prevent new delivery admissions. Requests already admitted may finish. Subscription changes and credential rotation also allow already-admitted requests to finish with their earlier configuration. Save the new secret when rotating and coordinate the receiver update before retiring the old key.

Replay an exhausted event

Inspect the delivery result before replaying. Replay requeues the whole organization event for all currently enabled, subscribed destinations. Destinations that already received it are skipped; newly eligible destinations can receive it. This is not a resend to only the selected endpoint.

Only exhausted, undelivered events are eligible. Refresh if the state changed or another operator already replayed the event. A paused or unsubscribed endpoint may not receive it. Receivers should handle retries without repeating the same business action.

This device

Device preferences

Open Preferences under This device in Settings to choose appearance, product language and date format. These preferences stay on this installation and remain when you switch accounts.

Appearance
Choose System, Light or Dark. The macOS app icon follows macOS appearance independently.
Language
Changes Isoline’s interface. It does not change a browser profile’s language, region, time zone or fingerprint settings.
Date format
Use the product language’s format or choose day/month/year, month/day/year or year-month-day. Displayed times use this device’s time zone unless a view says otherwise. Stored timestamps and exports keep their canonical values.

Reset interface preferences restores system appearance, the default product language and locale-based dates after confirmation. It does not delete accounts, profiles or workspace data, and does not reset the account’s remembered workspace.

If local preference storage is unavailable, changes may last only until the app closes. Invalid saved preferences fall back to safe defaults; they do not block sign-in or profile recovery.
